Student Programs: Time Travel with Archives and Museum

NOTE: Bookings for the 2023-24 school year is now closed. Pre-booking for the 2024-25 school year will open in June.

Transport students back in time with Archives and Museum! We offer three (3) student programs free of charge to Edmonton Public Schools.

Grade 4 students are invited to join the 1881 Schoolhouse, where they experience schoolhouse lessons of the 1880s in Edmonton's first public school.

Grade 4 students are also invited to Grandma's Place: A Visit to Grandma's and Grandpa's in the Past, a hands-on experience involving activities and 'chores' based on those of the early 1900s.

Grade 6 students are invited to Mr. Puffer Goes to Provincial Parliament: A Study of Government in Perspective, where they compare the first Provincial Parliament (1906) with the government in Alberta today.

Edmonton Public schools can find more information on how to book in Connect.
