Tour Information

The Archives and Museum provides tours of its historic building through self-guided and guided tours.  

Self-guided tours are best for up to 10 people. They are booked using a Google form for either the morning (9 a.m. to noon) or in the afternoon (1 - 3 p.m.) The average self-guided tour takes approximately 1 to 2 hours in length. We ask that when booking a self-guided tour you provide at least 48 hours (i.e. 2 working days) notice. Self-guided tours generally are booked for Thursdays and when school is not in session (i.e. PD days)  Have some fun on your tour and try our scavenger hunt. 

Guided tours are for groups of 10 or more (to a maximum of 20 people) and are 90 minutes in length. A tour guide will meet with your group on the front steps of historic McKay Avenue School, Archives and Museum. The cost for these tours is a flat rate of $200 + GST.
